Today, the Qld Parliamentary Crime and Corruption Committee of Qld, which oversees the Qld supposed corruption watchdog, handed down a report supposedly damming the Qld CCC Chair for taking action against SE Qld Councilors. After the CCC’s Belcarra Report into Council corruption was handed down, which in part said that because there are time limits for corruption prosecutions that let people off the hook, there were 2 inquiries proposing changes to legislation relating to council corruption. You will see from the dates of the inquiries, that the furious donations from the Local Government Association fall within those times.
