Not my words: Response to Townsville Magpie 16/6/2019
The Electoral Commission of Qld has fucked over all my links to

In the comments section of the 16th of June 2019 Edition of the Townsville Magpie Blog, owned and operated by ex NEWS Ltd type Mal Weatherup , I was overtly baited by him as to my intentions or non intentions regarding the 2020 Townsville Council Elections.
He said in part “The last minute election of say a Paul
Jacob, or, say, in the extreme, a Les Walker, a Peter Newey or even a Pat
Coleman, would be the death knell of Townsville.”
I saw it for what it was and tried to use it to take a swipe
at Townsville’s underbelly in reply.
What he printed in altered form, as if I had said it , he
has admitted to on his blog link above . This is what I actually said about the
Townsville underbelly:
“When everyone thinks I’m on trial , think again . Its
Townsville on trial. That’s because the coppers are defending the status quo.
On the voting figures, this town is full of people not much
different disgruntled Afrikaners after the fall of apartheid. Only it was
Australian Apartheid.
All you people on the far right are flag waving hypocrites
cos Australia fought the Nazis and fascists and you all are proudly professing
your patriotism.
Tell you what Team Straya “I determine what sort of patriot
I am and the circumstances and the manner in which I express it” .
This town is also full of people completely willing to
support corruption. And the word ‘mafia’ isn’t just for Italians. Its the
Townsville mafia, the mining mafia, the developer mafia and the labor and LNP mafia.
The people who take the mafia’s side are no better than the
collaborators with the Griffith mafia. They are lowlife crooks, especially the
ex cops who have gone over to the dark side.
Simple fact for the LNP’s ex cops , bent now , bent before.
What you do now proves you had no integrity to start with .
They are going to bring in compulsory preferential voting
for local government to force us to vote for fascists and crooks cos the game
is up.
Where before you could run to rob them of votes that go no
further in a tight race, they are rigging it.
Though anyone can run and keep their principles, knowing
they aren’t going to get elected and use it to take a swipe at the underbelly ,
to get elected – you have to suck up to and bullshit to all of the people above
.

Anyone
can run and keep their principles, knowing they aren’t going to get elected,
and use it to take a swipe at the underbelly , to get elected – otherwise, you
have to suck up to and bullshit to all factions of the power elite..
