HOW DID THE COMPANIES RPS AND WSP/PARSONS BRINKERHOFF GET THE GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS FOR PFAS INVESTIGATIONS ?

It was assured they got the job cos they were big donors to both sides. They hired GHD to do the testing around the base and methodology is going to be an issue as with safe levels in vegetables and humans and fish, shellfish and mangroves. Only a few residential bores were tested and it was done dry season before the Feb 2019 floods.

Like searching for reasons why WPS/Parson Brinkerhoff got their RAAF tender (see below )  – I always assume with these things that there is ALWAYS a quid pro quo for government contracts whether federal or state or local . Go to www.austender.gov.au and also google state tender sites.

More than likely the companies getting tenders are donors when cross checked on the donor search engines. If you cant find them there, find the lobbyists they use and type THEIR names into the donor search engines. More than likely, because its illegal for lobbyists to take a success fee – that money donated is a laundered bribe. Why do lobbyists donate exactly?

So I went looking for RPS donor links and followed the money. Remember, if Australian companies are subsidiaries of foreign companies, then their donations were always illegal in QLD , and if they engage in schemes to circumvent then that’s like conspiracy to hide it . Hundreds of thou$and$ in donations to both sides.

The RPS slogan on the top right of the Lavarack report AUG 2019 say “Making the complex easy” . The are completely right. Getting government tenders is very complex but made easier  WITH A BACKHANDER OR 2 . It’s safe to say that there would be more money somewhere from subsidiaries. There are a lot of other companies and lobbyist companies that use the same strategies to get government tenders. This enables a good survey from which to derive the hypothesis that tenders and outcomes are being bought.

So far they have admitted that PFAS is present in fish, marine and plant life. And it accumulates in roots of vegetables around the RAAF base. Its accumulates in the livers of humans and other creatures like dioxin.

The government denies a causal link between exposure and cancer unlike the rest of the world. This is a classic government denial of liability strategy that is used for everything.

If RPS and WSP gave the government answers they didn’t want to hear, do you think they or their subsidiaries would get more work ?

Q. WHY  DIDN’T THEY MAKE SURE SIGNS WERE PUT UP AT MARINE AND FISHING ACCESS POINTS WARNING OF PFAS IN MARINE LIFE AND AT THE VERY LEAST -ALLEGED SAFE CONSUMPTION LEVELS ?

A.    It probably has to do with land prices around the affected areas like millionaires row on the Palleranda Rd and  Esplanade . The new residential estate called “Haven” near the airport certainly isn’t going to use PFAS as a selling point are they? Reduced land prices affect council rates and budgets too. They cant drink the water at Katherine and you cant eat the stuff that comes from the water near OKE and certain parts of the Brisbane River. Here, because we are adjacent to the GBR Marine Park – government and defence must prevent flows into the area like everyone else. This affects the commercial fishing industry reputation aswell. And reputation is everything.
