23/10/19 The Electoral Commission of Qld and AEC has fucked over all my
links to donations returns in my articles. They have changed all links. To make
it easier to view these broken links go to my page with the new links in a new
browser and scroll down to the relevant return in the article. Page link here: https://cynicismcentraltownsvilleaustralia.blogspot.com/2019/10/changed-ecq-donor-returns-links-page.html

New links however, have been added to this article .
Since I started posting all over they shut off the ECQ Squiz site to break my links. The new site has massive links here https://www.ecq.qld.gov.au/donations-and-gift-disclosure/disclosure-of-political-donations/published-disclosure-returns You have to scroll down and chose the archive and manually search from there .
This
article is to be read in the context of every other article on this blog.
Particularly
Simple
google search for Rocky/Elliott Springs location
The Rocky Springs
development at Julago on the seaward side of the Bruce Highway South of
Townsville PAST THE Vantassell st Landfill and meatworks was always dodgy and
came under public environmental attack. In the age of the internet, any right
thinking house buyer would do a bit of internet research on the area they want
to buy in.
That said, Rocky Springs
got re-branded as Elliott Springs which is a common thing to do when your name
is MUD.
Often
with the Townsville Developer Mafia, they have their fingers in many pies. You
have to pay to get company director names from the ASIC website, but some are on the net through media and
blog stories.
Other big
developers such as Honeycombes and Lancini are always involved and have donated
but the focus here is on those associated by chronology, “proximity’
association and addresses on the returns. And of course, an ultimate goal. Other donors such as builders and those involved in roads , earthmoving and
water and drainage infrastructure are in the “package deal” and subcontract to
each other accordingly.
The big
developers always play a long game with their bribes and support for cross
party candidates that will achieve their aims.
Before
the Local Government Electoral Act donations could be to candidates but more
often than not , what the public could only see were late declarations to state
parties via the ECQ or AEC Returns .
You have
to match addresses to cities and local knowledge gives you the ability to fix
those to campaigns and people . The early Ferry/Townsville Resorts bribes were
for the then Labor Mayor Tony Mooney and the then Liberal Councillor David
Crissafulli . The big money from the big
boys went through Brisbane to be disseminated to all outposts.
Before
Jackie Trad became Deputy Premier of QLD, She was the lowly QLD Labor party
agent who had the legal responsibilities pertaining to that under state and CTH
Electoral Acts. Not only did she sign off on and report the 2010 rocky Springs
Rural bribe, she also signed off of on and reported the $5000 donation to Tony Mooney for his
2010 Herbert campaign by the corrupt and now gaoled NSW Labor Right power
broker Eddie Obeid in the same return .
If you are AWU and because of your dodgy conduct locally you cant get
preselected for the labor party , you need the NSW Labor right . This was
proved with the Rudd, Gillard and Shorten coups .
Now ,
that said , labor was on the nose in 2012 and was going to get the arse in QLD.
Crissafulli , because he had the experience of being a councillor and local
government issues was touted as the next local government minister for QLD if
elected. His candidate donor return as
well as Hathaways read as a wish list to
an aspiring local government minister from the Townsville Mafia . And so it
came to pass.
However ,
all the ducks, as yet , were not in a row. After a short 3 years the LNP was on
the nose and got the arse. And the former labor party agent who signed off on
the donations, JACKIE TRAD ,
became
Deputy
Premier and Local Government Minister.
As with
other donors , they treat government like a poker machine . They put a
few coins in , pull the handle, and this being Qld more often than not up comes
3 pineapples and their coins come back with a public funding jackpot .
I call
them the one arm bandits every time they strike again. Public funding of $15
Million was signed off on and granted to the developers who donated, thereby
returning the bribes as further profit by Dep Premier Jackie Trad on 14/11/16 .

It cant be anyones fault for drawing an inference that if there is a major development in Townsville , there is going to be a brown paper bag in full public view associated with it. Its was legal to donate per se before the developer donor ban , true. However , if deals get done by council for a donor on shit like head works or allowing work without approvals , that involves public money . Thats the legal kicker . Its what it was for. Its bribes and secret commissions.

$15 million injection to kick-start Townsville
residential estate
The
Palaszczuk Government has kick-started work on Townsville’s largest master
planned residential community of “Elliot Springs”, formerly known as Rocky
Springs, committing $15 million to build vital water and roads infrastructure.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning Jackie Trad said the infrastructure will unlock development of the estate which will become home to more than 27,000 people.
“Elliot Springs is a major project for Townsville and North Queenslandand will deliver a great local economic boost,” Ms Trad said.
“This is an important investment in this region and is being delivered as part of our Catalyst Infrastructure Program, a program designed to unlock economic growth through attracting private sector projects.”
Minister Assisting the Premier for North Queensland Coralee O’Rourke said that the project was integral to economic growth in North Queensland.
“This co-investment with LendLease will deliver more than $60 million worth of connecting infrastructure and support more than 360 jobs in the first three years,” Mrs O’Rourke said.
Member for Townsville Scott Stewart said that this was an example of the government delivering great new community facilities alongside economic growth.
“The economic benefits will flow on for many years to come as this area transforms with houses, shopping complexes, childcare centres, sports fields, restaurants and community facilities,” Mr Stewart said.
LendLease General Manager for Communities in Queensland, Guy Gibson said they were excited to have been successful in securing the funding to kick-start Elliot Springs.
“Lendlease is committed to the delivery of this community within Townsville and will continue to negotiate final approvals so construction can commence,” Mr Gibson said.
Construction is expected to begin in March 2017 and will add to jobs already provided through development at the Port of Townsville, Lavarack Barracks, JCU and the Townsville Hospital.
The State Government has previously invested $5 million in CIP funds for new water and sewerage infrastructure at the Palmview development by AVID Property Group on the Sunshine Coast and $5 million in the James Cook University’s, Ideas Market, a social hub for entertainment and events to build upon the vibrant university community.
